There's an interesting article at http://news.yahoo.com/s/hsn/20070316/hl_hsn/hivshoudinipowersexamined ... about HIV's ability to mutate rapidly. It turns out though that there are a couple things about HIV that don't change nearly so quickly as the rest of it and some scientists are working to see what can be done in those vulnerable areas.
