When you are low and helpless,
there is Someone who sees all.
When the world feels grey and bleak
and it seems that you will fall.
Turn to God above, alone
for He is always true.
He sees your pain, and knows the hurt
And He will hold you.
If you are alone and frightened,
and you weary of this fighting,
and satan looks to win the day
and you have nothing left to bring...
God will fill you up,
Your pain Jesus knew,
Before the purest blood was spilled,
and He alone will hold you.
He will hold you when all seems lost.
He will hold you as you kneel.
He will hold you, He's paid the cost.
He will hold you as you heal.
He will hold you, trust in Him.
He will hold you, don't give up.
He held you 'ere the world began,
and filled you with His eternal love.
