Well Travis took me to the hospital yesterday... Turns out I don't just have a cold, I have the mumps. I didn't even know what it was... kind of scared me! It's pretty contagious and spreads in tiny drops of fluid from the mouth and nose OR through sneezing, coughing, or even laughing. So far my fevers have been 42.4 and 40.9 i think its somewhere like 104F or more I don't really know.
But if it continues to stay up I have to admitted to the hospital which I don't want at all.
It's pretty painful, worse than any ear infection I have ever had in my life. It's not even the ears that are infected but it feels that way. It's the parotid salivary glands that are infected... grr so mad. I always get all these weird infections....
Anyways I won't be around for abit I need to focus on getting better.

OMG - mumps were standard operating procedure when I was in 4th grade. Almost every kid got them. Although, I had 'the mump'. It started on one side of my neck and jaw and just moved slowly to the other side. Recovering from this and what you went through earlier could be why you are extra touchy now. Immune system is executing a revolt to try and heal. I hope by now, at least the mumps are gone.
