Going out on a limb with the 70% for my goal.

 

Last night I did 2.39 in 30 minutes. I'm pretty sure I can finish the 5k in at least 45 minutes...that's my goal. Hell, I could crawl .7 miles in 15 minutes!!! I'm getting excited! I ran in the "sauna gym" last night. The longer I went, the better I felt. I just played with my ipod, finding good music. Before I knew it, 30 minutes was up! Yay for me!

 

Just keep plugging along. I know I can do this. I totally syked myself for the run last night and I think I have truly made the mind/body connection. I'm feeling like going for a run right now!!! The best part for me, was that was after a balls to the wall leg workout the day before! I think maybe I should post my accomplishment in one of the groups. It's amazing what you can do if you just put your mind to it. I'm telling you, that guy at nike is on to something...JUST DO IT!

    Sorry just caught up after being away over the weekend. Sounds like your doing great and feeling great - way to go!!! Glad your having time at the pool relaxing and spending time with the family - that's always the best. It's nice when we can say we like ourselves, I'm pretty happy but are we truly happy - never... at least I still have issues :) Good job on your runs and workouts, sounds like your right where you want to be. Love the avatar/shirt! I have my 5k end of Aug and have to get back into the running this week. Will go tonight and have the rest of the week to get the other 2 days in plus weights. This weekend is open and deff. a weekend of staying on track. Ate too much ice cream over the weekend at the race track ;) oh well. As long as we feel good and are in good spirits all is good!     I love my iPod too. The exercise gig is pretty new to me and I must say that that little miracle technological device makes it fun. You are so positive and motivated!! Way to go with your goal! JUST DO IT!

    You have a sauna gym? I've really gotta move out of the boondocks. We do however have Ipods out here, and they make the workout so much easier that I freak out without mine. You go girl, JUST DO IT!

    YAAAY!! =) I love hearing about your running and your progress! You are doing so well and should be SO proud of yourself! Getting psyched up for a run is important for me too. That way I look forward to it and end up going way faster in the end! I am so excited for you!! Run baby run!

    I was just saying last night that I get an euphoric feeling after working out. I am thinking about getting up an hour early everyday just so I can squeeze two good workouts into one day.
