People go through extreme changes in short periods of time.  A lot of the people I've met out here have done 180 degree turns.  Some have done 360's.  Some are doing figure 8s...you get the idea.

Anyway, when I joined, I was at what was probably the lowest point of my life emotionally.  I reached out to total strangers on line, and found support from some truly good people.  My plan was to lend support to others and through doing so, improve my own attitude.

A lot has happened since then, but the bottom line is, I've learned to not only open up in print, but also to the people with whom I should have been opening up to all along.

This is not a final victory shout, it's an announcement of progress on a journey.  It seemed like a good time to say thanks to all the friends who have been there, and to encourage everyone to keep pressing on.  We'll make it through.  With good support from within and without, we'll all make it through.  Keep posting.  Keep opening up. Keep making decisions that are healthy.  Keep the faith, keep believeing, keep your feet on the ground and keep reaching for the stars (anybody over 35 should get that one).

I for one, believe this site works.  I'll recommend it to those in need.  And I'll be back often.
