Good Morning DS friends!
It has been a hectic week here at home but, I must take a few minutes to thank all of you my friends for your wonderful responses, for my birthday cards, for the wonderful flowers and even breakfast in bed! Oh by the way, I'll have coffee with that breakfast...Yum!
I continue on with my PT 3 times a week, and I have been trying to diet. So far I am not losing ,but I am not gaining which is good. I am hoping the exercise will up my metabolism, and my T4 which is slower than molasses in January! I have been babysitting every Tues. and Wed. for Kadence while her momma gives riding lessons...we both love it! My youngest two kids have been home between semesters and they keep this house a jumping with all their banter and teasing..ugh! Next week looks to be even busier since I work twice as well as all the above and on Friday next week we have a special education field trip coming to ride horses and play, it's an anual event around here.
I am amazing myself with my PT. It certainly doesn't help with my pain , but it does give me added strength and I am slightly more limber. By bedtime I still have great difficulty walking but during the middle of the day. I can walk better, bend better, and have more stamina, enough that I am cooking from scratch meals and watching all our nutrition better. So it is giving me a feeling of self esteem that I had lost from these darn diseases.
Finally, if you don't hear from me please don't worry, I will check in as much as possible, but with my slow dial up and my slow typing it might not be as regular as in the winter months. Please know I pray for you all every night. I continue to pray for Fortitude and Wisdom everyday so I can Keep on Keepingon!

Just woke up and had breakfast. Feel ok. We both woke up at 3 this morning to a massive hail storm that last 1 1/2 …
I am happy that you have more stamina and can walk better. Maybe the pain part will come with time with the PT. baby steps, right? I am happy you will be getting out and doing more during the summer which is what I hope to do, otherwise I'd miss you too much. = )

Hon, you ever hear of Chromium Picolinate? It is for the very thing you are talking about. Has done wonders and is in the vitamin section. Your body usually gets this naturally but let's face it, with our health issues..... Give it a try. Hugs

I'm glad to read that you are back to cooking and from scratch, that's wonderful!! I bet your family loves that. Summer's are alot busier so alot of us don't get on here as much as in the winter. But we think of each other alot and whisper a prayer. Take care, hugs Cathy

God bless You, Nan. I know thyroid conditions, and possibly other factors make life miserable especially for women in particular with these glandular disorders. I'm not sure T4 is adequate. But I won't get into that here. Wishing you a good Sunday, and rest of the week. I do hope you get better. It sounds like you are doing the right things. Hugg, and much affection, Goliad
