    About Me

I am a medical lab technician who was first diagnosed 19 years ago after my 6th child was born. I have continually worked at finding new ways to treat my symptoms as they have come up over the years. I have been blessed in the past with a support group where I lived, but when we moved 10 years ago , I found myself feeling isolated in my condition, and unable to explain to others why sometimes I seemed fine, and other times was very ill. . I have continued in my career till just 2 year ago when I went to occasional status because I felt I was no longer up to the long days and hours on my feet.

    Interests

Our farm, horse rescue operation, Jr High and High school Equestrian Teams, cats, prayer and bible study, computers, crocheting, sewing crafts, loving my 5 adult kids, and my grandkids, oh yes and my hard working loving husband of 34 years. This is our second year of empty nest- not as bad as I thought! I also Read to keep my mind away from how I feel. It has always been my constant...can't sleep without a good book, I highly recommend that everyone stay in the middle of a good story!

I will check into the cooler idea. Some kinds can be plugged into the car's lighter spot. That way they will stay cool while we're driving and then I can put them in fridges a long the way. Thanks for the idea! :) Cheryl
