"The strife is o'er/ the battle done..." That's an Easter song but I'm applying it to our caregiving situation...this past Tuesday the divorce was finalized for our family's friend Anna.  It is sad that things got so bad she had to leave her marriage, and it was an awful contentious custody battle for almost two years -!  Legal fees will take a while to pay back, and hearts will take a while to get healed.   Now that the court stuff is behind her and us her friends, she can face her new life as a single parent of two preteen boys.   It really was a kind of miracle that they settled on Tuesday...we were nearly certain the trial before judge, with former friends being subpoenaed to testify about alleged bad parenting, abandonment and abuse, was going to happen and was going to be awful.  I think many people were praying hard and God answered!
