Close Hepatitis C
I found out I had HCV in 2004 when I gave blood. It scared me to death! But after doing some research I found out that it is not that bad. I was a wild, rebellious teen who had no direction and did some pretty stupid stuff such as IV drugs. I look back and think "You Idiot!" I lost my parents when I was a child and was pretty much on my own at 16. But God is good and this has only made me a better person. I would not be who I am if I had not been thru so much!
Treatments
- Interferon, pegylated Too Soon to Tell
- I haven't missed a day of work so far. The day after the shot I feel like I am in slow motion.
- Ribavarin Too Soon to Tell
- Makes me so thristy. It also makes my eyes burn a little.
