I am married to my best friend. We have been married for four years but together for nine. We have been trying to conceive for about three years now. Here is a bible verse that keeps me going: God didn't forget Rachel's desire. He heard her prayer, yet for years His answer was "wait." He did finally give her a son, and Rachel rejoiced in God's precious gift.
Interests
I love to read. I also love my two cats Calvin and Mia.I enjoy movies, gardening, and refinishing furniture. I also like to clean (just a bit OCD :)).

Close Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS)
I have been suffering from PCOS for many years. I have been to numerous doctors trying to get some sort of diagnosis. I did not get a diagnosis until my husband and I tried to start a family. Once I went off birth control I did not have another period. I have the weight gain, facial hair, acne, fatigue.
Treatments
- Clomid Not Working
- So I started Clomid. After my first pill I felt like a space cadet for awhile and my tongue and lips went kinda numb. I have now noticed that I am very fatigued and I did have one hot flash. Otherwise all has been good. Thank God!
- Metformin Not Working
- It made me soooo sick. After 3 months I asked my doctor to put me on the slow release but I was still sick. My doctor said that it did not have that many benefits when I was so sick. I decided after almost four months to stop taking it.
- Oral Contraceptives Working / Worked
- I took Loestrin 1/20. It has been helpful with making me have a period.
- Provera Working / Worked
- I am currently taking it to start my period so that I can then start Clomid. I have only noticed that I am weepy since I started taking it.
Close Infertility
Type: Hormonal DisordersI was diagnosed with PCOS and have been trying to have a baby for about three years now.

- Basal Thermometer Not Working
- Clomid Not Working
- I have only started taking it. I just feel like a space cadet when I take it.
- Folic Acid Working / Worked
- Metformin Not Working
- Just made me sick.
- Ovulation Predictor Kit Not Working
- Not ovulating so of course I never see a surge.
