Open Chronic Pain

Hi! I am 40yrs. old[docs say in the body of a 60yr. old!!];but feel 80 most days!I have very serious spinal compression[worse in my neck].Also,deg. disc disease,spinal stenosis,CFS,arthritis,scoliosis,carpral tunnel&tenditis,fibro.,bulging discs,migraines, spondylosiosis,retrolesesis,[sp?],endometroisis.,ovarian cysts,adenmyosis,& hep c.I have 2 kids,1 is 2yrs.& 1 is 21yrs.!!Would appreciate talking to anyone that can relate 2 ANY of these!Pain level is usually 10+ daily. Kinda helps; but is hard to get the energy & motivation 2 make the drive there & back when u r in a ton of pain.

Open Hepatitis C

I found out I have hep.C 15yrs. ago when I went 2 donate blood.I had NO idea!!!Apparently,when Igave birth to my daughter 21yrs.ago[was an emergency C-section];I needed a blood transfusion.Back in 1987,they didn't screen the blood first,and lucky me!!!-I ended up w/hep.C !!

Open Parenting Teenagers (12-18)

I'm not sure if I'm "allowed" to be here? My daughter is 20,& will be 21 this Thurs.[3/6].But,just becuz they turn 18, does NOT[by any means!]mean the "issues" stop!My daughter has ALOT of anger issues,& likes to take them out on me!! Some is O.K.,but NOT when she takes it to the extreme:tells me to "fuck off",etc.-in front of my 2yr. old son!!Is CONSTANTLY trying to "pick fights" w/me,is demanding,etc.!!!BUT,at the same time,is sweet,thoughtful,& my best friend;& all in all-A good "kid".

I personally think my disorder stems from all of the childhood abuse I endured growing up.I was put up 4 adopt.as an infant&my "mother" mentally & physically abused me'till age 13.She STILL "screws" w/my head, bigtime!& I am 40yrs. old!!!Some days I am strong,& other days- not so much!A few of my OCD's:everything HAS 2 face 4ward,towels folded evenly w/ tags "tucked in",ETC!!

HI,I was put up 4 adoption as an infant;& adopted @ 5days old.My adopted Mother was[is] VERY abusive!!Physically,as well as emotionally!! EXP.: She broke my nose 3x by age 10!!And to this day still plays "head games" & guilt trips,etc.!!!

Open Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder

A few yrs. ago I have started having "flashbacks",anxiety, an occasional panic attack,& VERY vivid nightmares!!And, 3mths. ago,I actually startrd to sleepwalk again!!?I feel that it is ALL due to PTSD;associated w/ all the abuse I went thru from birth to age 13. In my "dreams",I feel as if tho'I am actually being molested all over again!!I wake up & actually have 2 turn the lites on,& check the room 4 my brother{who incested me,age 2 to 10},& make sure he's not really there!!!Seem so real!!

Hi,I was diagnosed w/ fibro.14yrs. ago,when I was only 26yrs. old!!Back then[1994],Doctors did NOT even believe there was[is] such a Horrible,painful disease!!!So..becuz of that,I was often told that the pain was all in my head from other Doctors thru the yrs.!! Talk about a "slap in the face!!!!!" I am now 40yrs. old,& I thought the pain was bad B4..it is absolutely HORRIFIC now!!!Everyday!!And ther r soooo many things I can No longer do!It sure takes ALOT of the FUN out of life!!!!SUCKS!!!!
