I am a Nurse by trade. At present time I'M trying to find a job in my new state. (I have to first get my license transfered) I have been told it wont be hard. I hope not. I am a blk female at 5/2 ht. I have four wonderful kids, girl 20, boy 20, boy 17, and boy 16. I had Gastric By pass on June 19, 2007. I have lost 140lbs so far. I only have 50 more to go and then I'M at my goal wt. Cant wait. I haven't owned blue jeans in years and now I'm wearing them every day. I am excited. I have been married to my H for 12yrs this November. We are going through a tough time but I know with God, love and determination we will make it.

IM a 39yr blk female with hb for over 10yr now. I have been on most every med listed on this site. I recently had Gastric bypass surgery to loose weight June 17, 2007. I have lost 120lbs so far. Feeling good finally after all these years. The doc has taken me off most of all the meds I was on. Now IM only on two. HCTZ and the new one that just came out Bystolic 5mg. So far it has been working. No neg side effects. IM loving life.
This is both our second marriage. We have been married for 12yrs. My husband was in the military for 22yrs and then retired. He went back to school, finished and we decided he would leave our state in search of a good job for the family. He found a great job at the same time he also found a lover. We where separated for six months before I came to visit. Thats when I found out what was going on. He has asked me not to leave him and to stay. I have decided to stay and try to work it out.

My daughter has recently been hospitalized due to her mental illness. The main problem is she wont take her meds. She goes into a religious state of mind and you cant get her out of it. She is now home but shes still not wanting to take her meds. Its so hard. Short of forcing them down her throat what do we do? Shes does great when shes on her meds, the bad stuff comes when shes not.
