    About Me

I am a 29 year old travel agent and wedding consultant. I love to play soccer and volleyball, and spend time with my husband. My passion is traveling and seeing beautiful places. I love to try new things and was planning on learning to kite-board this April. Not looking forward to making changes in my lifestyle!

    • Close Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT)

I am a 29 year old female who on the 4th of February 08 was diagnosed with an extensive DVT in the femoral vein of my left leg, from the bottom of the calf up to the top of the thigh, through the pelvic area and to the top of the Iliac Vein. Now on March 1/08 diagnosed with 2 PE's in my lungs.

      Treatments

      Heparin Working / Worked
By IV for about 6 days in hospital, and by slow release Fragmen injections for approximately 11 days in total. I really have no idea what it was doing, I just hope it did something.
    • Close Pulmonary Embolism

I was diagnosed with an extensive DVT on Feb 4/08 that goes from my ankle to the top of my Iliac Vein. This Saturday I went back to ER because of a weird sensation in my chest and a rapid heart beat. Was diagnosed with having 2 PE's, one in each lung.

      Stage: Early Onset

My Nanny has Alzheimer's, and has for probably about 3 years or so. She is still in the early stages - repeating things, fidgety, fusses with things, makes up stories etc.
