struggled with depression all my life and finally just resently have been diagnosed with bipolar and am happy to finally be able to not feel crappy.
Treatments
Celexa (Not Working) worked for a short period and then stopped masking my symptoms and they came back.took for dep.
Cymbalta (Working / Worked) was only on for 3 weeks before was diagnosed with bipolar but some of the things I dealt with on the others like sleeping all the time stopped took for dep.
Effexor (Working / Worked) probably would have worked if depression was the problem.
Institutionalized (Working / Worked) I was put in the mental institute when I was 14 with my first attempted suicide and it was very helpful wish I could go back I need that deep therapy again.
Lithium (Working / Worked) it is starting to work but we will see
saint johns wort (Working / Worked) didn't work at all
Seroquel (Working / Worked) I am on such a small dose that I can not tell other than it helps me sleep
Wellbutrin (Not Working) I did not like at all did not work at all for me

was abused by my uncle when I was 4-5 years old and it happened all the time the only thing that did not happen was sex. my mom did nothing my uncle is free.
Treatments

just found out that I am codependant and don't know much about being so so I am joining this group so I can learn and heal from the problem.
