Here's the latest in the Pussy Cat saga:

Both Merlin and Morgan have rediscovered the joy's of hunting at night again. Oh joy!  

It was 3am and Merlin brought back the weirdest looking bug last night. It was as big as the palm of my hand and was a dark reddish brown colour. It had pincers like a stag beetle at the front and a long horn that looked a bit like a wasps stinger at the back. Ick!!!! Merlin very sweetly dropped it at my feet after I let him in and the waltzed off. Lovely! I stuck a bowl over the top of it and slid some cardboard under it. I then opened the front door and rather un-ceremoniously threw into the front garden. I did not want that roaming the house all night.

Morgans news is a little diffrent. She can talk! Oh yes, all you doubters out there! She let out a meow that sounded distinctly like "Im hungry". I then told her "you dont have lunch", to which she replied "yes I do". That really creeped me out. Im looking down at this angelic little face trrying to process what had just happened. Bizarre. Its a commen thing with her now. As she comes in she often says  "hello". If she is waiting to be let in or has been shut out of a room I invariably hear the words "let me in". Bless her. Now obvoiusly I know she cant talk like a human, diffrent vocal cords and all, but she is making a very valient effort!
