I am almost 30 and am a singer/songwriter by trade. I am very spiritual. I live by Toltec shamanism (think maya, aztec), but also follow north and south american shamanism and im very interested in all religions. Im a trained Reiki and spiritual healer. I use crystals to help me with my symptoms and would be lost without them. I worked for some years as a special needs assistant working with children who had autism, aspergus, adhd/add, behavioural problems etc. Best job I ever had!
Music is a massive part of my life. I love to sing and play my guitar or bass and write songs. I love soul music, motown, jazz, pop, rock, new country, folk, salsa, latin and blues music etc... I love to read and im hooked on Carlos Castaneda, Don Miguil Ruiz, Lynn Andrews, Dan Millman, Paulo Coelho and Stephen King books.

Just wanted to check in and see that everyone is ok? Hope you all have a lovely week xxx
Hi Danielle, Our local freeby newspaper featured bees this week. Some local people have opened a 40 acre refuge for them using holistic beekeeping practices. They give tours and offer classes. 'We decided that we needed to make a bee haven that would be a paragon, so that people around the world would see that they could do it themselves.' It's about 40 min north of here in the Russian River Valley (wine country) a town, Healdsburg. They grow herbs and even have a pond there...plus all the gardens... I'll definitely have to visit there...and also will check for Buxton's book on Amazon. Thanks again for letting me know about what's been going on with these 'bzzzzzzzz' friends. Hope some of your difficult times from earlier in the month, have lifted and no I haven't experienced the extent of the kind of pain that you have been going through...so I don't have much to offer in that area. A close friend of mine takes quanipan because she has fibromyalgia and that has been so challenging..and she's showly getting off of it. Sometimes people who have CFS also have lyme. Have you ever been tested for that or was it ever mentioned? I hesitate to even suggest it...many of the people who have it test neg on the Igenex and Western Blot tests..few drs. even know how to treat it...however, they are finding out that alot of people with CFD also do have lyme... Just for today...hugs....Rosa
Hey sweetie, just checking in to see how you're doing. Huge Hugs
Hope you are having a better day and many more to follow. I pray you wellness. May you be over taken by it. amen

Ive had CFS for about 14yrs. I had to leave work due to CFS as I was simply no longer able to continue. I was working with kids who had learning difficulties and behavioral problems and was a job I loved. I am mostly housebound and often bedbound when the CFS is bad. I am currently hoping to do Open university and get a degree in criminal psychology. I have a lot of free time so I may as well use it!
I got brain damage due to 6 bouts of non viral meningitis, where the lining of the brain and spinal cord swell up, over a 3 month period. Ive never known pain like it! The doc's believe I also had a bout of encephalitis causing the brain itself to swell. I now have terrible memory problems that im still learning to cope with. I also have no real sense of time. Im always living in the now and that makes planning things tricky. I would love to hear from anyone who can relate to my situation.
My pain stems from a bad fall I took a few years ago on a very wet floor. I was also involved in two car crashes some years back and im sure that hasnt helped matters very much. My partner at the time wouldnt take me to hospital, he was not a good guy (the violent type, and responsible for both crashes) so I just had to nurse myself!
Both of my retinas were detaching due to a rare syndrome I have called VKH, Vogt-Koyanagi-Harada syndrome. I had to have injections in the eyes and then long term steroids to save my sight. I also had to have a form of chemo therapy used for transplant patients to stop my body from rejecting the pigment in my eyes and causing retinal detachment. My sight has now be good for the last few years but I know it could happen again.
Due to a very rare genetic syndrome called VKH I have had meningitis. Part of its characteritics is severe non-viral Meningitis that repeats itself. I had Meningitis 6 times in 3 months. I also had an attack of encephalitis. The pain was horrific. Im aware that it could hit me again at any time. I ended up with brain damage as a result which I am still trying to cope with.
I have a friend who I think has a multiple personality disorder. He kows something is wrong but he doesnt talk about it. He talks to himself if he thinks im not around. Sometimes he is gentle and funny and others cruel and hard and doesnt seem to know me very well!
