2/25 I had myself all mentally prepared I would get my first shot at my first nurse visit. I thought I was going in to get training etc.  Got there, and NO, just information, then was told she would order the rx and it takes 3 days to get it in.  I then had an ultrsound on 3/5. The nurse called me to say it was "normal"  I am not even sure what that means, normal for having Hep C or completely normal.  When talking to her, she had not ordered the rx, and that is all I really heard.  So she said check on Friday or Saturday aghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!  I then got all geared up to take my first shot on Friday or Saturday.  Called, on Friday late afternoon, the pharmacist said he had just gotten the rx and had to order it,and it will not be in until Wednesday March 12 now!  I am so stinking frustrated!  I wanted to have my shot for the weekend, so my husband could be around.  I just want to get going on this tx!!!!  The sooner I start the sooner I will be done!

Saturday, my hairdresser squeezed me in for a quick haircut prior to tx.  She is going to pick up  Nioxin for me at the beauty supply, and will only charge me her cost-what a blessing!

Sunday morning, I got hit hard with crying.  I guess my cup was full and needed to be emptied.  I got a very sweet email from a distant relative and for some reason, I just fell apart.  I just let the flood gates go-my husband said I needed it, and he was right. I have been so strong and trying not to burden anyone with my feelings (except my husband), and I just had myself a toe wrenching cry!  It did feel good, and now I am back to being positive about the tx.  I do use humor to get through things, and so I am back thinking how fun it will be to buy a new wig if needed, and to lose the extra pounds I have been carrying! LOL

Sunday afternoon ended up being so wonderful. My daughter planned an impromptu bbq with my son.  They both came over with their families, all for 4 grandkids and spouses.  They brought all the food, and did everything for the day, so I could just enjoy my grandkids.  They even cleaned up everything too! LOL  What a beautiful day.  It was one of those sunny So Cal days, and we spent it in the back yard. Wonderful to see the little ones play, and to be in the fresh air.  It really helped the day go by.  Only 3 more days-hopefully until I can get this tx started. Whoohoo.

I can do anything through Christ who strengthens me!
