Close Fibromyalgia
Hi my name is Lori. I have a long story but I will make it shorter. I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia in 1985. That is when it was called Fibrositis. I had it a few yrs before then for sure. It took them about 5 yrs to diagnose. I also suffer from Chronic Fatigue, Migraines, Hypothryoidism,Depression,DDD and IBS. I seem to have more days of feeling down and not as many feeling up. Looking forward to chatting with others. My family is not as supportive as they need to be for me.

- Just makes me more sleepy than I already am
- Effexor Not Working
- Did not work for me
- Elavil Working / Worked
- Always felt hungover in the a.m Take Imovane for sleep and have for quite a while with good results.
- Heat Somewhat Helpful
- Use this frequently on my back
- Lyrica Working / Worked
- Yes finding somewhat helpful...just started it not too long ago
- Neurontin Not Working
- I took this for a little while but my legs felt rubbery and unsteady...did not like the feeling
Close Chronic Pain
To tell my story seems like it would take a life time. I have suffered chronic pain since I was 18. That seems like a life time ago. Others in my family suffer chronic pain too. I am married and have 2 sons.Looking forward to chatting in this group.
