is feeling Good
Well, let's see...hmmm...I am a cook (institutional) and work very long hours. I have two wonderful adult children and two beautiful grandbabies. I feel that there really is no place like home and no place that I'd rather be. I am an optimistic and and feel rather blessed to possess a generally positive attitude and demeanor.

Hello and welcome, just jump right in
hello there and welcome, i've only been on this sight for a couple of weeks but have found some great adice along with a lot of caring. do you think that your fm was caused by the bite& disease it caused? what were it's symptoms? sounds like your work is making a lot of demands on your body but it seems with me that work is a good distraction from the pain which is usually worse at night when i finally sit down to relax. take care of yourself, i hope you to find this a supporting place as i have.
About 12 years ago I contracted encephillitis from a mosquito bite. Since then I have experienced progressive body aches & pains as well as chronic fatigue. When my mom passed away 5 yrs ago, I noticed the symptoms getting worse. Daily activity became a struggle that I was sure was sheer depression that could be overcome. Last year I started a new job that is somewhat physically demanding in a way that I am on my feet for very long hours. My aches & pains tripled and finally I was diagnosed FMS.
