trimmer, you are a very wise man...the self talk you are doing will get you far...and I would agree with those who encourage you to forgive quickly. I know it is difficult. But, I believe God's word is true and their to help ANYONE who will ACCEPT it. I think about what He said on the cross..."Father, forgive them for they know not what they do". Jesus loved those who betrayed Him AND crucified Him. He is our example and He's one tough act to follow but He is right because unforgiveness IS toxic. Remember...I told you...good days and bad. At least you DO acknowledge that your wife is 'trying' but no amount of trying will ever make her picture perfect...none of us can be that. You love her...she loves you...and you are so right not to throw it all away because it's too hard to work through...YOU WILL MAKE IT......just be patient with yourself and her...God bless you and have a great day tomorrow
