Drinking with the Enemy Mood

I had this strong urge last night to call the OM and ask him to meet me for a beer. I had no thoughts of putting a hand on him or threatening him at all. I think earlier this week I was thinking about that quote from Sun-Tzu (the author of "The Art of War" and a chinese military strategist), "keep your friends close and your enemies closer." It may be a stretch to call the OM my enemy but I know he's not a friend; enemy will do. I just thought there's a lot of wisdom to that.

I didn't call him but I might and I know he'd be a better man for having a beer with me.

I agree with keeping your enemies close, however I Learned the hard way, they will just lie to you, that is what the ow did with me, they are good at lying and don't care about us, so unless you want to get a bunch of lip service and bring your self back to a bad place, just think about it and don't waste a moment of your time with him.
Your beer probably won't taste good either.

Such a bad idea. You will not solve anything or feel any better. Whatever the affair was, it wasn't about being your enemy, it was about his own selfishness. Keep your focus on your marriage and the relationship recovery you have been experiencing with your wife.

no, no, no! i wouldn't really have a beer with him. i guess i'm saying that i've turned a corner, you know? i don't want to hurt the guy and i don't wish him any harm. that's all.

again i commend you on your strength!!!!!! i don`t know where you get it but keep up the good work . your wife is a very lucky woman. love your picture ! it`s nice when you can put a face to the words & it`s a nice face . my h doesn`t want me to put up pics because he doesn`t want anyone to recogonise us if anyone we know is on this site . anyway , take care & i`ll be checking in.
