I guess I have a lot to write about tonight...
We've been doing this thing with the kids, that all kids have probably done. That is, we have asked them to write "lines"...things like, "I will use my hands safely" when they hit their brother. Or, "I will speak nicely"; things like that. Tonight, I went for a walk which is a new coping skill for me when I feel angry. I chuckled to myself thinking, my wife should write lines, too. And I came up with a few things I think she should get through her head:
1- My vagina belongs to me and my husband and no one else
2- If I do decide to screw a guy while married, I'll use a condom
3- It's not cool to touch someone else's penis and then touch my husband's face with the same hand
4- I will learn other coping skills besides screwing other men
5- If I want to screw other men, I'll get divorced first
6- It's not cool to have sex with two different people on the same day
7- Just because I have problems in my marriage, that doesn't give me the right to screw other guys
8- Screwing other guys will not fix my problems
9- If I screw other guys, my husband has the right to screw other women
10- I didn't get a tubal ligation so I could screw other guys and not get pregnant. I got a tubal ligation so my husband and I wouldn't have any more kids.
Oh, that felt good to write those down. I'm afraid of what some of you might say to #1 on the list. I'm really not a sexist, you should know that by reading my other posts. I believe that my privates belong to me and whoever I'm in a committed relationship with. Get my drift?

This made me laugh, too. It's good for you to get all this out here!

There's some anger and some resentment still festering in these lines, but they're more than understandable and you're entitled to them. I completely understand each and every thing you've written there and know how good it feels to think those thoughts.
You're a stronger man than me. I couldn't make my marriage work after the infidelity. My admiration goes out to you.

Think I'll tell my H to read this one. He'll probably want me to write lines as well....#6 was an especially hard one to admit to. Makes me want to cry, actually I did cry then.
