Today, for the first time in 4 months, I felt like I believed my wife...maybe I felt safe making a "trust" deposit in her. I think it may be due to her continued remorse, continuing counseling, her support group and re-engaging in OUR life. She cleaned the garage today, and I mean really cleaned it. This is a great way to a man's heart; to clean the garage. She seems more patient with the kids, continues to touch me more often and is taking care of business at home.
I'm not expecting to feel different all of the sudden, but I do feel that I was able to trust her just a bit today.

That's really what I feel like I have been doing this past couple months. Re-engaging in my life with my husband. Doing it makes me see how I had been moving away from that even before the affair. I realize how much every little thing I did contributed to 'make happen' what I thought 'just happened'. Don't know if that makes any sense.

i didn't know that cleaning was the way to a man's heart. i thought cooking was. i seriously need to get busy then! thanks for the tip. oh and i forgot to tell you that your 'date' inspired me and i did the same with my H. well not the same date, but went on one w/ him and it was really great. very relaxing and much needed. thanks!
