I take the bus too. I think it's great that you're getting better at taking the bus with less stress. Sometimes I freak out on the bus, and what I do is I look around and make sure that I watch people getting on and off the bus (that makes one less vulnerable to assults because you look alert) and I concentrate on my breathing and try to think about the is-ness of the world. And I don't know if this helps, but I've been taking the bus for a while now and never had any trouble with anyone. People tend to mind their own buisness. And if you miss a bus you just have to wait for the next one. I hope this has acutally been encouraging and not just been my ramblings.

Excellent goal! Remember, all that other folks can do, why with patient trying should not you? How about trying to find one or more people on the bus who can be your friend for the journey, or taking a book along to read, or playing the games on your cell phone if you have one? Keep that noble chin up and keep trying in all of life - wonderful things can happen when we just try! I wish you success.
