My understanding is , that's the way it works. I was blessed and had no side effects other than being tired all the time but it cleared my virus from my system so now I have a great chance of keeping my new liver and not having to have a second transplant. you and him hang in there it will get better. | My husband of 12 years was diagnosed with hep c 4 years ago. He finally decided to seek treatment right before he was layed off last Sept. He is in wk 7 of tx. He has genotype 3 and at his 5 week appt we were told the virus was at non-detectable levels. He will most likely need to do 24 weeks of tx. We have 3 small children and have been through some difficult trials together but this has the rest beat. We are struggling. | |
