      I've had AS since ~ 1985. HLA B27 positive. I've taken many, many treatments for it. I've discovered that after finding an effective treatment, I can use if for a while, and then my disease develops "resistance" to it, and I must search for another treatment.

      Treatments

      Enbrel Working / Worked
      2 x weekly injections knocks out SED rate.
      Celebrex Working / Worked
      400mg / day
      Daypro Working / Worked
      Worked for a long time, but not any more.
      Voltaren Working / Worked
      Worked for a long time, but not any more.

    • Close Diabetes Type 2

      Diagnosed with "pre-diabetes" in 2004.

      Treatments

      Metformin Somewhat Helpful
      2 x 500mg ER lowers morning sugars about 10 points. Not enough for me...
      Accupril Somewhat Helpful
      5mg / day. This ACE inhibitor does not treat diabetes itself, but rather protects internal organs from damage from diabetes.
