I have no idea where a month went! I go to work, come home, make dinner, do laundry and go to bed. Which is probably what most people do but …
Yvette, thinking about you. How are you?
Don't worry about being a downer. You're far from that. Just concentrate on recovering. All of us in here have some sort of pain, whether it's physical, emotional or in many of our cases, both.
You seem to have an upbeat personality like myself. I've been wheeled out of surgery smiling, in pain, but somehow smiling. Maybe it was the anesthesia, haha.
A BIG hug from me to you. I replied to your post in the group. Write whenever you want to talk.
You will be in my thoughts and prayers. Hoping the hardest part is now behind you.
Hello group! I am 3 weeks post total thyroidectomy. I have papillary that has spread to the lymph nodes. I will see an endo. md next week. I was told that I will have radioactive iodine treatment and a full body scan will be done first to see if it is in other lymph nodes or tissue. I am a 47 yr old woman who has seriously been sick for a long time. I finally got a dx after many tests and many drs. I was dx with bi-polar disorder 10 yrs ago....I am now questioning that. nutshell version!
I have had fibro for approximately 14 yrs. I was in the process of getting some tests done by my rheumy as I have some indicators of auto-immune disease as well. But as luck would have it I now have thyroid cancer. Fibromyalgia does not stop hurting and wreaking havoc on me while I try to recover from cancer. At the moment the fibro is more of a problem. Stress = pain.
I am married to someone with e.d. and I don't know how to handle it.
