that's me back on the clomid, i'm on it again initially for 3 months under what the nurse is calling 'constant monitoring'. i have to take 50mg from days 2-6 of my cycle and i'm on day 5, although my cycle disappeared after day 3!

the crying passed round about day 3 as well, it was a relief not to burst into tears because i forgot to put the switch down on the kettle (david although baffled pretended he understood how big a deal this was) or when i opened the curtains a few days ago and left the house 3 hours later to go shopping and saw from the car they were (very slightly) squint! david found me a gibbering wreck in the car.

i had my first bout of 'monitoring' today. and i slept in a bit so i wasn't in a great mood anyway but by the time i dropped shannon of i could feel the steam coming out of my ears. luckily sister burrage has been dealing with 'clomid rage' for years and listened calmly as i ranted on for 15 minutes about how everything was against me. she swiftly got me to be quiet when she told me they needed a blood sample (i am terrified of needles), she got another nurse in to hold my hand (or really to hold me down) and i'm over the trauma now. i'm back in again on tuesday for my scan which will tell me if the clomid is working or not. so keeping my fingers crossed.

i'm so tired just now that i'm goin to try and get some rest and calm down. it must have been a man that invented clomid!
