    • Close Sexual Abuse

      I was sexually abused by a boyfriend at the ages of 13 to 15. I have been struggling with my current relationships ever since.

      Treatments

      Crying Not Working
      I just feel worse because I let it get to me.
      Group Therapy Working / Worked
      I joined a group that met once a week that talked about ways to cope. Listening to others was insightful.
      Music Somewhat Helpful
      Certain bands and types of music actually helped bring out the emotions I felt so I could understand them better.
      Sleep Working / Worked
      When I fall asleep, everything goes away. When I wake up, everything seems like less of a problem than it did before I went to sleep.
      Talking Working / Worked
      Everything from support groups to talking to my best friend. Works the best for me.
    • Close College Stress

      I have very little time to myself. It seems like all I do is schoolwork, (very little) sleep, and sit around with my boyfriend.

      Treatments

      Sleep Working / Worked
      The only escape is to relax and take a nap.
      Crying Not Working
      I end up feeling worse because I look like a fish after I cry.
