    About Me

Big desires to help and make this world a better place, I am doing little things to support Bipolar and Codependents in my corner of the world.

    Interests

I have dabbled in Soccer and Golf. Other hobbies - gardening, music and movies, throwing holiday parties, going to parties, wine and cocktails(not more than 4 drinks a week for me), chocolates.

    • Close Bipolar Disorder

      Treatments

      Lamictal Working / Worked
Yes, I am not aware of any side effects so far.
    • Close Codependency

      Treatments

12 Step Program Working / Worked
Made a half hearted attempt at 12-step program from the book. Don't think I made any progress. Must be my lack of effort.
      Music Working / Worked
Helps a lot. I think for both CD and Bipolar. I used to go nuts without it.
      Pets Working / Worked
I have dogs. Did not know that they can help with codependency.
      Reading Working / Worked
I used to read like crazy. Kept me sane but no time to do it now. Still miss it. It was very effective but keep getting into a fights at home.
      Talking Working / Worked
Works very well, but people manipulate me after they know my fears etc. I am scared to open-up too much. I stay superfecial ( Didn't I spell that right?)
      \"Codependent No More\" Working / Worked
Read it or heard the audio tape. It made me cry a lot but I donot know if I got relieved of CD.
    • Open Fibromyalgia

I am just thinking I have it. I heard about it sometime back. I asked my physician, he thought it is just something vague and not sure if it is just side effects of another condition. My biggest challenge of course is pain, slowness of thinking, unable to remember daily routine things, sensitivity to any physical touch. I read on Wiki about it. Looks like a candidate, but how do you get diagonised.

    • Open Anxiety

I guess I have experienced anxiety from my childhood since I used to see regular voilence in my house as a toddler. My dad was a wife beater and was so until he died when I was 20 years old.

      Treatments

      Clonazepam Working / Worked
I use it when I have intense anxiety it works quite well to tide over the situation. But I am afraid of using it too often since I am worried about dependancyaddction. My pdoc says I am not the type who will abuse the med. I dont want to prove him wrong.
    • Open Healthy Sex

I was virgin till I married, not counting petting. Now the sex life is non-existent except for self-help. Occational ED is also a challenge.

      Treatments

      Cialis Working / Worked
It works and it doesnt. Almost always it is a short lived errection.
