He's doing worse. Sean is quickly detierating. He's become even weaker. He want's to see the grand canyon before he dies (the men in his family who have gotten ALS usually live around 6 months). They're going to try to go soon, his uncle gave him 10,000 dollars to do it first class and everything but he's been feeling so awful and trying to find a time where he can get away from doctors appointments is almost impossible. 

I feel so bad for his wife. They've been together for over 20 or so years, since the end of high school/beginning of college and just got married. I can't even begin to imagine how she's feeling or what she's going through.

and as for me. I finished the recital this weekend. it's all over. Im still not sure how i feel about it, even after all the tears. And im still having a really hard time dealing with death. and loss. I picked up a book about how to cope with loosing people through sudden deaths and have just stared reading it. Hopefully it'll help, at least a bit. and less then a week ago i got my official drivers ed booklet sent to me and i have a month to complete it.

and college-wise, i think im going to Mary Baldwin, in fact im sure I am. Im talking to the people at evergreen this week but the future of that path looks quite dim. So Im not sure how I'll cope so far away from my family but... I dont know. it scares me. I just hope that everything works out for the best.

I found a quote by an aquaintence of mine and it made me feel alot better -- "Its a lot easier to handle life when your whole world fits inside your arms"
