About Me
I have a wonderful husband who has been backing me from the begining. I love animals. Most of all my two beautiful Arabians. In my free time I paint various pictures, or I read fatacy novels.
Interests
In my heart I am an Equestrian. I grew up riding and eventually started training horses and riders on my own by the age of 15. However, due to multiple back injuries and various other injuries that started mounting up on me I had to make a choice of being crippled or giving it up. I have other talents as an artist, but without my heart where it belongs there is no inspiration. I work as receptionsist for now searching to fill the void. I am only a few years out of it.

Close Fibromyalgia
When I was sixteen I broke my back riding too many horses. I had a lot of injuries and as a result the doctors say that all of the stessors in my brain don't know how to function properly anymore. Oh yeah, and I get migraines that I inherited from my mothers side. My back still wants to pretend it is broken all of the time although the doctors say there is nothing structurally wrong with it. I like to live one day at a time.
Treatments
- Cyclobenzaprine Somewhat Helpful
- Worked great, but we were using it to put me to sleep at night.
- Effexor Not Working
- I had to stop taking this I had every rare side effect. Not a good thing.
- Heat Somewhat Helpful
- feels nice for awhile until I have to get up after laying still for soo long.
- Lyrica Not Working
- Didn't do that well for the pain, and it made me light headed and dizzy all the time.
- TENS Somewhat Helpful
- This was alright except my areas of pain always move. And, I couldn't get the thing to shock me hard enough.
- Topamax Working / Worked
- So far, it is doing a pretty good job of setteling down my migraines, however I am still getting about 2 a week. Still a lot better than every day.
- Ultram Not Working
- Didn't do a thing to help, although I was really hoping it would.
- Vitamin B12 Not Working
- I started taking this and soon broke out into a rash- I am allergic to VitaminC and aparantly B12.
- Walking Working / Worked
- At work if I start to feel pain, I do laps around the shop, we have a very large shop. My bosses don't mind the time out because they know I am doing my best to stay there all day.
- Zanaflex Somewhat Helpful
- Not really strong enough to do anything, but sure makes me sleep.
Close Migraine Headaches
I started getting migraines after seeing a chiropractor, they run strong in my family. I would only get them every now and then for awhile, now I get an average of 2-5 a week.
