Dx'd 01/16/08. geno 1a, grade2, stage 1. Biopsy completed 3/5/08. Started tx may2nd. Not having alot of problems with it. Some days aren't great but overall I'm kicking ass. I am a psych nurse, married 28 years to a guy i knew 3 days prior! We have 2 daughters 24 &25. One 6 year old grandaughter. I love the Rolling Stones, have tongue tat'd on upper right arm. I am a southern gal with a red-neck streak that only comes out when needed. I am a vegetarian and animal rights activist.
Interests
I enjoy watching my husband on stage-he is a lead singer in a local rock band Now that I can't drink I find out how talented they really are. They do alot of biker gigs to raise money for one thing or another. I am 46. I love dogs. They are very special to me for some reason. They don't judge-just unconditional love.

Pearl Moon, This is normal, some of us never get adjusted to them. I have been on & off for over (10) years. I do have other health problems, like migraines, herniated discs, and fibromyalgia. You stay on them! I pray for your sake that they do get better for you. Yes, the stress will aggravate the problem.. I have such a heavy load right now, sometimes I feel like I will drop dead, without God in my life I know I would not make it. God bless you my friend, I hope you will feel much better today. Thanks for your reply...please keep me posted-I'm also genotype 1 (not sure of letter though-waiting on results) and I would like to know how tx is going for you. I know they say our genotype has a lower success rate but I've read some happy endings in DS. I'm waiting on lab results & then we'll discuss getting on tx...maybe August/September. last viral load (Jan. 2007) was 204,000. I'm a bit scared as to what they are today. It is what it is I guess. Anyway, good luck w/ your tx & do stay in touch.
