not much to tell for now.just started with the treatment (air mask) 2 days ago.looking forward to having a new look on life.plus im getting a flying hat,goggles & a white silk scarf & changing my name to Biggles!

Close Sleep Apnea
my test results for sleep apnea came back a few days ago as positive.in some ways it was such a relief as it answered so many questions.it seems ive had this problem since i was about 10,im 40 now.they told me id soon be my old self again,i just cant remember what i was like 30 years ago.i have no idea what the difference will be,all i can do is wait and see.

- wednesday was the 1st night with the mask,getting to sleep wasnt hard,never is when your constantly exhausted! waking up in the early hours feeling like your suffucating & finding a mask clamped to your face is a tad un nerving to say the least.it doesnt help when the release clip wont undo either.im hoping this will wear off in time.

Type: Loss of a FriendFrank is my best mate,weve known each other since we were 18,im 40 & frank is 2 months younger than me.we looked on each other as brothers we never had.the last time i saw him was september 07 at a bike rally.i promised to go and see him before that xmas but due to ill health i couldnt.the next time i got over was to help carry his coffin.he died after suffering a massive heart attack at work.i stayed with his wife & daughter for the week before his funeral to be there for them to lean on.

- i never got chance to say sorry for letting him down or to say goodbye.i miss him so much it hurts now as much as it did a year ago and its killing me inside.
