So this is me. Mood
Thursday, July 3, 2008

Ok, so this is what I've discovered about myself recently.  I hide a lot.  I've always been a homebody and an introvert, but I'm really seeing that its a form of hiding.

When I rented this apartment - which is the ground level of somone's house - the landlord told me to feel free to use the north lawn as my own yard.  They have a big deck on the south side of the house and that's where they go outside.  So this perfectly beautiful yard is "mine" and I have NEVER used it.  I don't go outside.  Even when they're not here.  Right now they're on vacation.  I'm making it my goal to use the yard.

When I talked to my therapist about this issue, she said they would probably love it if I started using the yard.  If she had a tenant, she would want them to enjoy the place to the fullest.  That makes so much sense.  And the people I rent from are the nicest people.  So, that's my goal.

I have nothing to hide.  No sense in me hiding myself.
