Cat Memories Mood

Something I posted in my Cat Lovers Group and I wanted to post it here to keep it in my memory. I have been so fortunate to be loved by the most incredible animals. I thank GOD for them everyday. I KNOW i wouldn't be the person i am today, hell, i probably wouldn't even be here today, if it wasn't for the love of my beloved and cherished best animal friends.

Canned pumpkin also works well, and some cats really love it! Story. This was back when i was younger, still at my parents house. We had 2 amazing cats. Mason - a seal point Siamese, and Tania - a grey and white DSH. Oh, were they the best of friends (my best friends too). Tania snuck out a couple of times and got pregnant and Mason was right there with her the whole time being a second Mommy to the babies - Oh soo cute! Anyway, Tania had issues with hairballs. We were trying everything and I heard about the pumpkin, so we thought we would give it a try. The article said that cats just LOVE it - they will GOBBLE it right up - fight for more!!! SO, we offered it to Tania... no dice. Turned up her pretty little nose and would have none of it. Mason on the other hand, who never had a hairball in her life, couldn't get enough of it. Ok, so I read that if you rub it on their paws they have no choice to clean it off. After all, what cat in their fastidious ways would allow their paw to be dirty?? Well, that stubborn Tania would… That pumpkin was on her paw for a good 3 days before I finally had to take a washcloth and clean it off (with her fighting mad the whole time). I always think about that and just smile with the memory. =) I miss you Tania and Mason!! Thanks for making my life complete!!!
