Today my hip is hurting and it is painful to sit. I have five more hours to go at my desk and I'm dying already. So far day is flying by though, everyone is chatty. It must be the weather. I just took the pain meds so they should kick in soon... Last night my bulbs arrived from Holland. I planted them immediately! I am so excited!! I got mom some called Twinkle Toes because she's a dancer. I'm waiting on the rest of her Mother's Day items to arrive in the mail. I'm going with a gardening theme! I'm finally catching up with things at work and learning my new position here. Today seems eerily quiet compared with the past few weeks...
Dad was granted tenure at his job yesterday. He is very happy.
My cousin called last night to vent a little. Her son has a seizure disorder and so far they have been unable to cure his seizures. He’s also cognitively impaired so caring for her disabled son, in addition to caring for her other boys is not easy. My heart goes out to her and I wish I could help. I guess I will have to teach her how to use DS.
