I know exactly what you are going through. I went through a time when my period lasted approximately 3 months ( with a few days here and there of lesser bleeding and stopping bleeding altogether ). It was extremely frustrating and very scary. It affected everything from my moods to my intimacy with my Fiance. I went to a gynecologist, got some bloodwork done and found out I had Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. Have you been tested? If not, discuss this with your doctor and find out all the information you can! Good Luck and my thoughts are with you!

Type: Loss of a RelativeMy grandma passed away this November on my 21st birthday. I didn't see it coming. Just December 2006, I lost my other grandma. So right now I have no living grandparents. I don't know what to do anymore. I no longer want to celebrate my birthday on 11/11. Before I would always look at the clock at 11:11 and I would sing a little happy b-day song to me...but now I look at the clock at 11:11 and I'm instantly sad.
Treatments

- It would make me think more about the situation.

- Grief Counseling Too Soon to Tell
- I just started counseling and so far I enjoy having a place where I can let my guard down.
- Keeping Busy Not Working

- Still not working... I feel like I should give up... its been 7 months and I have found no comfort in prayer

Close Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS)
Treatments
- Oral Contraceptives Not Working
- I had to stop taking it because it was effecting me emotionally and I didn't like it. No longer taking
- Provera Working / Worked
- It worked to start my period but it took 20 days before it started!!! I'm now on Provera every 3 months for 10 days.
Open Hives
I broke out in hives Dec 23, 2007 and I went to an allergist and no one knows why I break out. I have a zyrtec but I don't take it everyday. I only take it when I feel the itch begin.
Treatments
- Zyrtec Working / Worked
- It works fine. I havent felt the affects of the drownsiness but you can get drowsy.
