is feeling Horrible
I'm 31 years old and I have been fighting my weight since I was 14 years old (over half my life). For most of those years I have just ignored my bingeing and occasional purging, hoping it would go away, stuffing down my thoughts with more food. It's now time to get myself on track and get a life.
Reading, writing, hanging out with my bitchy cat
(((((nobody is strong enough to BEAT the disease...You have got to put ur pride in your pocket and choose to not fight)))If u change the rule on any game u have a better chance at winning...Look at the food as taunting you and u not wanting to look like a punk and giving into and it putting it hand on ur forhead and you swinging and sputtering to try to get at it...Ours is a cunning and baffling dis-ease!!!))) Prayers for Peace, Nicol
I UNDERSTAND ALSO AND I THINK THAT IS WHEN MY WEIGHT STARTED GOING UP (14). I MET MY HUBBY AND WENT DOWN, HAD MY SON (WENT UP) AND TRYING TO GET BACK DOWN AND KEEP IT THERE. I KEEP TELLING MYSELF THAT IT'S NOT GOOD FOR ME TO KEEP GOING THRU THESE CYCLES WITH MY BODY BUT I'M STILL LEARNING AND MAKING THE CHANGES TO BEAT THIS. IT TAKES TIME AND HARD WORK BUT YOU WILL GET THERE. THIS SITE HAS HELPED A GREAT DEAL! KATHY
Hope you sre well- just wanted to say hi-- lots of love
I really related to your post on pigging out and feel terrible afterwards. Especially the part about making sure to just start the next day fresh and not dwell on the setback. Accomplished people don't fail to fall..they just try to pick themselves up.
just saying welcome! this site is fantastic and i hope it will help you too.
