    • Close Endometriosis

I have had endo. for five years now. I was dignosed at stage 4 endo. I am a virgin (proud of it too). So it is really funny that I am getting a depo shot and have been on some form of hormones for 5 years. I don't have HEALTH INS. I keep geting rejected because of my endo. If you can help email me!

      Treatments

      Extended-Cycle Birth Control Not Working
I tried this but I spotted too much on it and it didn't really help the pain much.
      Lupron Working / Worked
I had 2 6month treatments of Lupron. They helped shrink the endo. The side effects are rough though. And the shot cost 800 per injection which is once a month. Way too expensive if you dont have good ins.
      Provera Working / Worked
I have been on it for about 9 months. It is working right now, it manages my pain ok. But I am gaining a lot of weight. I don't know how long my doctor will let me stay on it for.
      Surgery Somewhat Helpful
I had LAP and laser surgery. It worked for about 6 months with no pain.
    • Close Depression

My depression started just a few years ago. But it has become more powerful since then. I am looking support and for ways to manage the mood swings, sadness, etc.

      Treatments

      Psychotherapy Considering
I would love to go see a counselor but I don't have the money and no health insurance.
Support from Friends & Family Working / Worked
      Zoloft Working / Worked
It is working but I have had to increase the dosage a few times.
    • Open Abstinence & Celibacy

Yeah for Us. I am 24 and proud to be a virgin. I belive in Marriage the wonderful creation that God has made. I feel the pressures just like u but I know my savior wouldn't want me to put myself in that situation (spiritually, physically, or mentally). If you get a chance read "The Good News about Sex and Marriage". Theology of the body will change you life.

    • Open Caregivers

I am the caregiver of my mom. She has had 7 major back surgeries and countless procedures.

      Treatments

      Love Working / Worked
      Loving her always helps !
    • Open Diets & Weight Maintenance

I have been overweight my whole life. I have a condition called endometrosis. The medication I take for it causes me (all women) to gain a lot of weight. I don't know where to start. I know I need to change. But I enjoy eating the foods I do. I have never liked vegies, fish, or beans. I feel like I am lost.

      Treatments

      Jenny Craig Working / Worked
I lost 25 pounds. But when the money ran out I gained it all back.
      Weight Watchers Considering
My mom is currently doing weight watchers and I am trying to help her. But I enjoyed the symplistic lifestyle of Jenny Craig. WW just seems like so much work.
    • Open Food Allergies
      Type of allergy: Other Foods

I don't konw if I actually have food allergies. But there is a lot of talk about Canadid and Glutin having an impact on people with Endometrosis and IBS. Just Looking for advice
