Type: Loss of a Parentmy dad died last saturday of coronary athersclerosis and ischaemic heart disease. we didn't find him until the 29th of jan 2008 (his certified date of death). he died in his sleep in his armchair. it was the best way to go for him but we had no idea of his illness and having never lost anyone before this is so difficult :'(

Close Alcoholism
my dad died earlier this week and had been an alcoholic for 17 years. for the last 2 he had a chance to turn his life around and stop the drink. not once did he relapse and he spent his final two years of life helping everyone he met at meetings and on the national database a.a. line which he took to advise other alcoholics. he died of ischaemic heart disease and atherosclerosis, and i just want everyone to take notice of this and think.

'm cari on the 29th of jan 2008 my world was crushed, we found my dad dead in his armchair, he died of ischemic heart disease and atherosclerosis through years of alcohol abuse and heavy smoking. he died age 57, and noone had any idea he had it.
