I am a 40 year old woman with a son who is 18 and dyslexic. I just want to tell you that my son had dysnomia too. Your the first person I have come across with this. How do you deal with others who tease you? My son has a great attitude about it all but I know it still drives him crazy.
Thanks for the note and hug. It's been a crazy couple of weeks not just medwise, but busy busy too. Baby turned 13 last weekend! Hope to hook up soon :)

I have polyarthropathy, FMS, Chronic Pain Syndrome, Sjogrens, Raynaud's, spinal bone burs, Degenerative Disk Disease, and Bursitus of the Hips/Shoulders. I also was suspected Lupus.
I have a variety of health conditions. IBS and GERD are part of my list of stuff. My sister has IBD/Chrones/Illeitus. So I think it's just something that runs in my family. My son also shows symptoms though he had surgery on his intestines when he was 4.
I have a variety of health conditions. GERD and IBS are two of those. I was tested many years ago and found to have a faulty valve at the top of my stomach.
I have a variety of health conditions. Which include sciatica. I was diagnosed as a child and in my teens offered surgery for it. I refused because they said the problem would likely reoccur. Over time it has calmed down a bit pain wise though I do have problems walking.
I have a variety of diagnosis, mostly they are arthritis. Depending on which doc you talk to they will say HFA or AS. I was first screened in grade 1 at the schools insistence. Then was retested as an adult. I have a special needs child but his issues are different yet similar.
I have fairly bad dry eyes. The specialist says normally it takes up to 5sec for the drops to dry mine dried in 1-2 sec. So far no form of eye drops seems to help. They tell me to blink more but I tend to forget and it doesn't seem to help.
Dyslexia runs in my family. Mine shows mostly as spelling LD and I write things phonetically. On the flip side I read at a pretty high level they say.
I'm an adult with a dx on the autism spectrum and various other health issues.
I have a variety of health stuff that all seems to overlap. Several "things" run in my family.
I'm a disabled parent single parent(divorced) of a disabled teenage boy. My daughter died a few years ago from cancer.
