    About Me

    I have been a very active person all my life. I am a retired mechanical assembler and trained people. I love being outside and doing yardwork. If I could afford it I would love to travel. I have one son and two grown grandkids. I am awaiting my first great grandchild in April.Yipeee! I have stage 3 overian cancer. Have had surgery and just completed my 8th and final chemo. I HOPE! I would like to chat with someone who has gone thru a similar ordeal.

      Today was good thanks.. My friend, Clive, came over and we went out for some lunch, which was nice enough and has done me some good. I was planning to get on with a drawing project.. but it seems to do me good, just now, to be out and about, with some company.. How are you today? Big hug xxx

    • Close Ovarian Cancer

      I just compleated 8 chemos. and surgery. I have overian, stage 3. Now I have a big decision and I would like some input. The dr. said I could follow up now by doing one of these 3 option.1-do nothing. 2-Watch for recurrance by going for bloodwork every 6 to 8 weeks,ct scan. 3-continue chemo. (half the taxel I WAS getting every 6 weeks to reduce the chance of recurrance over 6 months to a year. My chemo treatmets were paclitaxel and carboplatin & a nulasta shot.
