About Me
I can be bit of a perfectionist. Diagnosed seven years ago after battling a substance abuse problem. Sober by the Grace of God for several years and a friend til' the end. Many years ago I was hospitalized several times for dual diagnosis. I am sensitive and also brash at the same time, a weird combo. :) Also, I am not here to hook up with a guy just to make friends with common issues and don't do chats. I check the journals of those who check mine. I hope you all are blessed and happier than the day before!
Interests
Passionate about music and I am also a sporty kind of girl even with my crazy unhealthy past, I like living on the edge too much. I work out a lot and work in general a lot, my job is my baby. I love to white water kayak, camp, boat, hydro-slide, run, travel and scuba dive, workout, jet ski, and spend time with my girls (friends). I hope to meet some cool people.

Close Alcoholism
I am a recovering alcoholic who has been sober by the Grace of God for 7 years. I went through 6 rehabs, numerous detox's and too many trips to the ER. The disease destroyed my life for nearly two decades. I use to be a chronic relapser, I still take it one day at a time.
Treatments

- I work the steps in every area of my life.
- AA Meetings Working / Worked
- I met a lot of good friends at the meetings in Palm Coast. I have sponsored many people over the years and have a sponsor. I do service work when asked and never refuse helping another alcoholic who is sincere about sobriety.
- Al-Anon Working / Worked
- My sister is a very active user and currently in jail for DUI's and her behaviors affect the family. I am now in the position where it is not me and my disease tearing apart the family it is the disease itself tearing us apart. I am learning to lovingly detach.
- Detox Working / Worked
- Been through many. I lost count there have been so many.
- Outpatient Treatment Program Working / Worked
- I have been through 3 outpatient treatment centers.
- Residential Treatment Center Working / Worked
- Many rehabs, 4 were 30 day treatment centers and the others were longer. One was a Mission Center (similar to a half-way house only it was based upon Scripture)
- Trazodone Somewhat Helpful
- Have taken if for years.
Open ADHD / ADD
I have had problems all my life with being manic and hyper and not able to finish what I have begun. I was just diagnosed.
Treatments
- Vyvanse Working / Worked
- Doing great on it and wish I had started it years ago. No side effects on the lower dosage.
Open Stress Management
I work a lot and am married and work with my husband and have panic attacks on occasion and difficulty managing the stress of running a business with my husband and the long hours and dealing with nasty customers from time to time, not to mention all the traveling.

- It helps a lot when I have the time to go.

- It helped with major panic attacks.

- Music gets me out of myself.
