is feeling Good
needing to get on DS more often!!! I miss all my friends!
My name is Amy, and Im 23 years old. My huband Mark and I have one child and her name is Megan. She was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy 3 days before her 1st birthday. Now she is almost 16 months old and we have been doing physical therapy sice she was 6 months old. She cannot support her head, sit up, crawl, or walk. She also has very poor trunk control, and fluctuating tones. She is getting much better at many things, and we are so proud of her. She has a ton of drive and determination. I am PROUD to be her mother and to have brought such an amazing creature into this world. I am looking to meet more parents to share advice with, who have been through this. Also, meeting adults with this disability is a treat because its helpful to hear first hand what is like living with Cerebral Palsy.
I love to read, paint, listen to music, cook and play with my daughter. We have so much fun being outside enjoying our surroundings. She is such a happy baby and she is so content wherever we are. She is my best friend, my joy, and my world. And Im happy as long as I have my family.
Thanks for the prayers, Trevor is way better, they are sending him home!

Megan is 13 months old and we have been trying to figure out what was delaying her development since she was 3 months old. 3 days before her 1st bday, she was diagnosed with CP. I pray that she will enjoy life and not be discouraged by her disability. I hope to always be postive and supportive. It is so important to not limit her to her disability. She is a very smart baby, and she learns so quickly. She has tons of determination and i hope she always will.
My name is Amy. Im 23 years old and I have been married for 2 years. Our daughter Megan is 1 year old and suffers from Cerebral Palsy. I have always been a little overweight, but generally happy with myself. Since I have been a mother of a child with disabilities, it has made it very hard to focus on anything else. I am trying really hard to get back to a healthy weight, but it is getting so tough. I am looking for support and advice.
