    About Me

Hi everyone. My name is Amy. I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in July of 2002 by a great specialist in Charlotte, NC after seeing numerous doctors for many months poking and testing the theories that they felt to believe to be such as carpal tunnel and stroke. Eventually one specialist told me his honest, educated opinion of what he thought the possibilities would be and it was MS. Finally an answer came but still came with many emotions. Then in January 2003, I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer (stage 3). I went through about 11 months of multiple surgeries, chemotherapy, and radiation and proud to say that I am a cancer survivor. I remarried in 2005 to a great man. Together we have boys which are 13 and 11.

    Interests

I love the outdoors and the internet. I do not have any idea how I made it without a computer for so many years. Reading, Gardening, movies.
