 Essential Tremor
I've had ET since I was 6, affecting mainly my head/neck. At 44, they're getting worse. They run on my dad's side. It's been very hard @ times dealing with it for so long. I took Inderal for yrs., quit taking it and recently was put on Mysoline, rather than opting for DBS surgery. I'm trying to help it using methods other than medications.
Treatments
 Inderal (Working / Worked)
Took Inderal for a few years. Finally stopped taking it as it didn't help anymore. It did help in the beginning and I didn't have any side effects.
 Mysoline (Not Working)
Stopped taking them after 1 week. Took 50 mg. at bedtime. Gave me headaches, dizziness, nausea and made me depressed. Didn't notice they did anything for me. I feel better since I stopped taking them.

 Antiphospholipid Syndrome
Found out a few years ago from the Rheumatologist that I have APS (Hughes Syndrome). I don't take anything for it as he said the side effects of the meds. could be worse than the condition. I don't even take an aspirin a day. I had 1 miscarriage in my first tri-mester @ 24. Perhaps due to the APS. I have 2 great kids, 17 & 21. I've had Fibromyalgia in the past, fought & beat it.

 Miscarriage
Had 1 miscarriage at 24 in my 1st trimester, after having my daughter at 23. I had bad cramping/pains that eve., went to the bathroom and passed a large bloodclot in the toilet the size of my opened hand. I didn't save it, which I probably should have. Called the Dr. the next A.M. He did an ultrasound and only saw tissue. He told me I needed a D&C. I have an RH- blood factor as well & have had Rhogam injections twice, once after my miscarriage and once after having my son.
Treatments
 D&C (Working / Worked)
D&C was done at 24 after my miscarriage. Went well and I didn't have any problems. Took Clomid for 3 months before becoming pregnant with my son.
