I haven't been on much over the last week. The last couple of shots for my treatment has been more "icky" than normal due to my monthly vistor not wanting to go away -ugh. I had a hard time recovering from shot 29, and my shot this past Friday (shot 30) made it worse. My allergies are also bothersome (yep we finally got warm weather here lol), I think I'm either getting riba cough or it's just my allergies but the whole thing is making my asthma flair up alot (which adds to the fatigue). I know this too shall pass. Hoping to bounce back by Wed.

Hope you are feeling better real soon. Stay strong you have come so far. God Bless...

Girl I can identify with the whole allergy thing. I feel like I have Asthma or something. I just wheeze when I breathe and got that cough your talking about.
I am using something called a NeilMed Sinus Rinse that I got at the drug store and it does help me to breathe. You might want to try it, don't get the Nettie pot one though, but the NeilMed "Sinus Rinse" Hugs Jeannie

Hello dear Lady, I also had asthma while on treatment and was worst since our immune system is so weak. As for the alergies, I would take benadryl, that did help whenever I had this particular side.
Hopefully those will switch over to a different side soon.
How long as this been an issue.
I remember switching sides every week.
One week it would be major headaches, the next week my sinus, alergies, the next aches & pains, and so on, then the wheel would come back to headaches, 48 weeks is a long time to be sick, sick.
I even had a pneumonia during tx, so being sick on top of sick tx, was very difficult on me, which is why I say that tx almost killed me.
But being the hard headed women that I am, knowing my husband had done the whole 48 weeks and had cleared the virus, I continued.
Fortunately, I was not expected to do the housecleaning, the laundry my mother did, and so on... so it did help not having to get up and do things for my family, they pretty much dealt with each others needs by themselves.
you must remember when you decided to take this year for you, it meant you were literally taking this time to cure yourself, no matter what, so I do hope you have the help that you do need to continue your journey.
BEsides you will have some good days, the second half of treatment you will find that you are getting used of being sick all the time, and it will eventually feel almost normal to you.
My Research Consultant Nurse (RCN) always told me, the more your sick on the meds, the more it works, so it did encourage me in a way knowing I was really kicking this dragon's butt.
Today I live with it, and am proud to have continued my year long journey at healing myself.
I tip my hat to you for passing the half way mark and now being at shot #30, wow you will see the light at the end of the tunnel soon.
I am here for you my love, and thanks for the hug.
will come by again.... mckenzie one day at the time

Hi-
I hope you're feeling better this week. You are almost there!! Just think in a year from now you will be able to look back on the whole experience and say I'm so glad I invested that time into myself, now I can look to the future with a bright hope of being healthy for my children.
xoxo,
Lisa
