    Unemployed currently. Bipolar sufferer so no passions at the moment as in deep dark depression.

    Interests

    When well I love going to Gigs and music is my greatest passion. I went to 3 festivals in 2007. I love my garden - when well - but it is now a wilderness. I also enjoy going out and reading, and sewing. Since being in this depression I have achieved nothing. I am usually very busy with everything including work.

      I have recently been diagnosed as bipolar and am currently in a very deep depression. I had to give up my job in November as I could no longer cope. I have joined this site in an effort to speak to other similar sufferers.

      Treatments

      Depakote Working / Worked
      Weight gain and side effects (hair falling out) so bad that I stopped taking it
      Prozac Working / Worked
      Too early to know if it helps my depression. On lowest dosage.
      Seroquel Somewhat Helpful
      Helping me sleep - on a low dose. Too heavy a dose knocks me out.
