      I have been with my husband for 12 years and married for 9 1/2. He has three children from a previous marriage. His children are now grown, well late teens. They have caused tremendous chaos and drama in our marriage to the point it is now ending as a result. My husbands sister has never liked me and encouraged the disrespect from his children towards me. She has encouraged my husband to divorce me for years. We separated last summer for two months.

      Treatments

      Couples Counseling Somewhat Helpful
      We have been to counseling numerous times. I currently have an appointment tomorrow. I invited my husband to attend, I am not sure he will show up.
      Leave Somewhat Helpful
      We separated for two months. During that time my husband met with a divorce lawyer and told me to date others as he would do the same. I went out with one individual, now my husband said I cheated on him.
      Talking Not Working
      We cannot communicate with one another through talking. He is very stubborn and has blinders on when it comes to his children and family which are the root of our problems.
      Xanax Working / Worked
      I take Xanax daily to deal with the anxiety.
      Lexapro Working / Worked
      I currently take Lexapro to deal with the depression caused by the situation
